As a sixth-generation quilter, I am excited that my daughters are proudly embracing our family’s quilting tradition. We cherish our quilting retreats where we spend quality time together at Grandma’s house. We spend our days together sewing, chatting and most importantly, enjoying home-cooked meals. During one of these retreats, while trying to organize the rows and columns on one of our many projects, the melted masking tape and sticky notes had fallen off for the last time! I decided a numbered pin would solve our problems and time-consuming frustrations. From this simple solution, Marilee’s Numbered Pins was born.
